Metamorphosis (or just “Morph” for short) = an object changes form into a completely different one, by seemingly supernatural means.

MORPH RST Creative Reuse Center is a new non-profit organization formed in Rochester, Minnesota to promote the donation and reuse of arts and craft materials. Our mission is to provide a physical place and a community spirit for sharing, reusing, and repurposing of arts and craft supplies in Rochester, Minnesota and the surrounding area. 

Mission

1. Provide a place and a process for people to donate unneeded arts and craft supplies knowing that they will be put to great use in future creative projects.
     2.  Provide a place and a process for anyone to buy the donated arts and craft supplies at thrift-store rates.
     3. Use the donated materials and Morph volunteers to directly provide art experience opportunities in our community with an emphasis on reaching under-served portions of the population.
     4. Use many forms of community outreach to encourage recycling, reuse, and good stewardship.​

​Morph accepts donations from community and industry members in the forms of usable materials, leftovers, surplus, and monetary contributions and distributes them to the Rochester and surrounding community for creative, imaginative, and educational reuse. We focus on recycling (or “upcycling”) unwanted materials for a new and useful purpose. 

Being a place for those to donate unwanted materials and find inexpensive craft supplies, the RST Creative Reuse Center will be an example in SE Minnesota for reducing waste, repurposing materials, demonstrating resourcefulness, and bringing use to items previously considered useless.
